MEET JOE EARLEY

A Legacy of Leadership Forged in Service

Joe Earley is a proud fifth-generation West Virginian, long-time Bridgeport resident, devoted husband, father, and grandfather.  With deep roots in Harrison County and a life grounded in faith and community, Joe embodies the values that have long defined West Virginians—service, hard work, and integrity.

Joe’s leadership journey began in the U.S. Army, where he served 20 years with honor and distinction, retiring as an Armor First Sergeant. His military career was forged in high-stakes assignments across the globe—from the Cold War frontline in West Germany’s Fulda Gap with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, to maintaining peace and security with the 2nd Infantry Division in South Korea, and deploying to Southwest Asia during Operation Vigilant Warrior with 3rd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment. Joe led soldiers in some of the Army’s most demanding roles: Tank Commander, Armor Platoon Sergeant, Drill Sergeant, M1A1 Abrams Master Gunner, and Tank Weapons System Advisor. His dedication to mentorship and excellence earned him lifetime membership in the elite U.S. Army Sergeant Audie Murphy Club.

After two decades of military service & organizational leadership, Joe brought his strategic mindset and mission-first approach to the cybersecurity field. Today, he is a Certified Cybersecurity Engineering Professional, holding international certifications as a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GCRC) Professional, and Project Management Professional (PMP), among others. He has led complex cybersecurity projects, protected critical infrastructure, and advised organizations on risk management and digital defense.

From the armored battlefield to the digital frontlines, Joe’s leadership is defined by discipline, service, and a steadfast commitment to protecting people, communities, and country. Whether serving in uniform or securing the future through technology, Joe continues to lead with purpose—guided by the same values that have shaped his life, his work, and his unwavering dedication to West Virginia.
